Battle of Earth[]

Cull Obsidian joins the battle
In 2014, Thanos discovered the main universe and used reverse-engineered Pym Particles to transport himself and his army, including Obsidian, through the Quantum Realm to the main universe.

Obsidian charges at his enemies
Shortly after arriving, Obsidian, the rest of the Black Order, the Outriders, Chitauri, and Sakaarans were summoned onto the ruins of the Avengers Compound to join the battle against the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Asgardians, Ravagers, the Wakandan armies, and the Masters of the Mystic Arts.

Obsidian is attacked by Drax the Destroyer
During the battle, Obsidian began to attack Steve Rogers, only to get hit in the face by Mjølnir. Obsidian managed to recover and began to violently grapple Korg with his arm, choking him to death. Obsidian was then attacked by Drax the Destroyer, who jumped onto his back and started rapidly stabbing him with knives, allowing Korg to strike him with his weapon.

Obsidian is crushed under Giant-Man's foot
Obsidian was able to escape the pair, and later attacked Tony Stark after he was cornered by a group of rabid Outriders. Obsidian used his hidden blade to stab Stark while on the ground, but his killing blow was prevented when Peter Parker used his Synthetic Webbing to pull him backwards, falling onto the ground. Before Obsidian could stand again, he was stomped on by Scott Lang, in Giant-form, and thus, was crushed to death.[3]
Legacy[]
DNA Transferred to Super-Skrulls[]

Obsidian's DNA included in the Harvest
During the Battle of Earth, Cull Obsidian had been wounded, causing him to spill his blood on the battlefield. His blood was collected after the battle by Nick Fury's secret Skrull unit and placed into a vial known as the Harvest alongside other enhanced DNA samples. The Harvest vial was then administered by Super-Skrulls Gravik and G'iah, granting them access to Obsidian's physiology.[5][6]
