While investigating the death of Shameek Smith, Rafael Scarfe theorized whether the death was a product of the Dominican Mob or Cuban Mob. He was then told it was Puerto Ricans.[1] The leader of the mob, Juan Carlos Castro arrived in Harlem with other gang members to discuss a transfer of power from Cottonmouth to Mariah Dillard. However, Diamondback arrived with intentions of his own. He killed all members, including shooting Castro.[2] Once Castro was killed, questions were raised on where the mobs had gone.[3] Misty Knight confronted Domingo Colon about this.[4]
