Crescent Heights Service is a gas station in Portland.
History[]
In need of a new tire, Gabriella Rosetti and Daimon Helstrom went to Crescent Heights Service. Seeing that they planned to call a tow truck, the mechanic there told them that it would take the tow truck the same amount of time to get there as it would for him to finish the oil change he was working on and fix the tire, so Helstrom agreed and the mechanic offered them coffee. Helstrom called Louise Hastings and asked what Caretaker told her about a recent killing at the Blood Hotel, and she told him that he had not yet answered, which did not surprise Helstrom. He told her about the flat tire, and Hastings told him that his sister was with his mother, upsetting Helstrom. The two hung up and Helstrom and Rosetti went to get coffee.
Rosetti and Helstrom went to pay for the service, when Helstrom asked where the cashier had gone to. Although Rosetti suggested that the mechanic was the only person present, Helstrom noted a Nintendo Switch on the desk and that the mechanic did not appear to be a fan of video games. The two went outside and found Rosetti's car being worked on, and then heard metal falling from inside the garage. Helstrom told Rosetti to get in the car and lock the door before investigating.
He went into the garage and found the mechanic dead, and the demon Naren present. Helstrom demanded to know who sent Naren, who simply replied that he already knew who it was, and that he want Helstrom and Rosetti distracted. As Rosetti got out of the car, she got grabbed by another demon, possessing a man named Brian, and screamed Helstrom's name, while the demon shushed her. Helstrom attacked Naren while the other demon dragged Rosetti away, screaming. Rosetti bit the demons arm, getting him to let go, and the demon took out a knife to attack her. Helstrom then defeated Naren and went outside, killing the other demon with his powers. He collapsed and Rosetti rushed over to him, assuring him that he was not a bad person for doing so.[1]
