Willows was the owner of Mystic Castle, where his friend, Donny Blaze did magic shows. When Blaze's magic did not impress anyone, Willows pushed him to use his Sling Ring to open up portals. This caused fellow Master of the Mystic Arts, Wong to get very mad.
Wong and She-Hulk presented Blaze with a cease and desist. While Blaze and Wong argued, Willows repeated what Blaze said, leading She-Hulk to ask if he was just a hype-man for Blaze. When they did not reach an agreement, Wong forced them to go to court. Willows listened in court, but got mad when Wong did not call the magic show, real magic. Blaze, the lawyer, and Willows then presented their own magic tricks until the judge said to stop.
Later, Blaze accidentally summoned a bunch of demons, causing everyone to run. Blaze called Wong and She-Hulk for help. She-Hulk took one of the demons and pointed it towards the two magicians, asking if they would sign a cease and desist. Although Blaze was hesitant, Willows did not think twice about saying yes.[1]
