Contraxia is a cold and icy planet often visited by the different Ravager Clans as a place to relax.
History[]
Pleasure Planet[]
The Sneeper Madame opened a brothel called the Iron Lotus in Contraxia, where people would be entertained by android prostitutes known as Love Bots. Ravagers from various factions would come to Contraxia in search for pleasure time.[1]
Winning a Bet[]
Rocket won a bet in Contraxia and took his competitor's prosthetic eyeball in addition to his winnings. However, in order to sneak it past authorities, he was forced to hide the prosthetic in his rectum.[2]
Yondu Udonta's Exile[]

In 2014, the Yondu Ravager Clan came to spend some pleasant time on Contraxia after Stakar Ogord banished Yondu Udonta for breaking the Ravager Code. Ogord came as well with his Ravagers, but upon discovering that the Yondu Ravager Clan was already there, they departed, telling the Sneeper Madame that she had lost 99 potential customer clans by welcoming only one of them. Once the argument between Ogord and Udonta ended, the Sovereign High Priestess Ayesha, who had also traveled to Contraxia, approached Udonta in order to hire him to retrieve the Anulax Batteries that were stolen by the Guardians of the Galaxy. Taserface also began plotting a mutiny against Udonta while the Ravagers were on Contraxia.[1]
Battle of Earth[]
In 2023, the Masters of the Mystic Arts opened up portals from Contraxia transporting Howard the Duck and the Ravagers to Earth to fight in the battle against an alternate Thanos and his army.[3]
