Comden was an agent of the Strategic Scientific Reserve who served in the New York Bell Company branch. Comden was positioned on a rooftop to help keep watch for any approaching Leviathan agents during a public press conference held by the SSR and Howard Stark in an attempt to draw out Leviathan. Once the conference was underway, Peggy Carter, unsure about the safety of the plan, used a walkie-talkie to communicate with Comden to check that the rooftops were still clear, to which Comden affirmed.[1]
