Biography[]
Early Life[]
Tyrone Johnson was exposed to Darkforce as a kid, while Tandy Bowen was exposed to Lightforce. Bowen and Johnson became friends, and the two began hunting down the leader of sex trafficking ring in New Orleans. Bowen was kidnapped, however, and Johnson tried looking for her.[1]
Helping Tandy Bowen[]
While looking for Tandy Bowen, he tried calling her house and checking local hospitals, but had no luck. He called Brigid O'Reilly to ask for help, and O'Reilly told him to wait, frustrating Johnson. However, Bowen then returned to St. Theresa's Church, so Johnson embraced her. He saw how upset she was, and Bowen told him that she had figured out who was trafficking women and that they needed to stop him. Johnson nodded empathetically.
The two of them called O'Reilly and went to the center of Andre Deschaine's therapy group and planned to stop him. Johnson assured O'Reilly that they were likely still inside, as a police car showed up and O'Reilly explained that given Bowen's state, she called for back-up. Bowen hesitantly agreed, but refused to allow the police to handle it. Bowen and Johnson went inside together, and Deschaine moved toward Bowen. Johnson went to stop him, but Deschaine pointed out that Lia Dewan had Mikayla Bell held hostage. Bowen threw a dagger at Dewan and she dodged, giving Johnson the chance to teleport Bell to safety.
Johnson returned to find Dewan gone and Deschaine holding a gun to Bowen, and found Bowen telling Deschaine to shoot if he wanted and that Johnson would deal with him. Johnson told Deschaine that the police were outside, but Deschaine proceeded to taunt Bowen, saying that her bravery was an act. Bowen said that she was wrong to believe herself to be alone, and Bowen realized that she was wrong and she did have one person, Johnson. However, Deschaine then said that he came to the same conclusion and shot Johnson several times.
Johnson fell to the ground as Bowen rushed over to him, trying to help him, but he died. Johnson's death made Bowen lose hope, causing her to give in and allow Deschaine to kidnap her.[1]
