Clive Reston was dispatched by MI6 to Tehran, Iran, while the CIA conducted their mission there. Reston ended up exposing Everett Ross' cover, which he was rather bitter about.[1]
Spymaster Investigation[]

During his investigation into Spymaster, Reston contacted the NSA for leads on Spymaster and arrived at the United States to collect the thumb drive with useful information. However, before he could enter the NSA facility, Reston was chrloformed by Everett Ross, who impersonated him to infiltrate the building.[1]
