In order to make Peter Quill happy on Christmas, Mantis and Drax the Destroyer went to Beverly Hills and kidnapped Kevin Bacon, using Mantis' abilities to make him want to help. Mantis, Drax, and Bacon went to Christmas Castle in order to get Christmas decorations and gifts for Quill to decorate Knowhere. They loaded the items onto the Bowie.[1]
