Christine Palmer was sought after by Stephen Strange, but was never able to express his feelings due to his fragile emotional state. She later married another person, which caused Strange's mental state to worsen, which led to his use of the Darkhold to find a universe where a counterpart of him was with Palmer. Strange eventually caused a reality-destroying Incursion between his universe and another one, which destroyed almost all of his universe to such a state that he was the only one left alive.[1]
