The Chitauri Invasion was an invasion on Earth by Loki.

Battle

Having obtained the Tesseract, Loki summoned the Chitauri to Earth. His brother, Thor, stood in the way of his pursuit for domination. Additionally, Iron Man fought off the Chitauri as well. Eventually, Thor reached Loki and the two fought until Loki was defeated.

Aftermath

Thor grabbed the Tesseract and stopped the invasion. He held the Tesseract high in victory.
