The Chase of Victor Timely was a conflict where Victor Timely was pursued by various different parties for a variety of reasons all at once, which concluded with Timely being taken to the Time Variance Authority by Loki and Mobius M. Mobius.

During his banishment into the Void, Loki discovered the truth about the Sacred Timeline, a collection of realities under oversight of He Who Remains, whose death led to the timeline reconnecting with the Multiverse, causing instability at an unfathomable level.[3] Loki began experiencing Time Slipping and, having discovered the truth about He Who Remains and his Variants, witnessed the unstoppable growth of new time branches that caused the Temporal Loom to become overloaded. As this could have cataclysmic consequences for the Time Variance Authority, Ouroboros insisted that they needed He Who Remains' temporal aura to access the Loom and have any chance to fix it.
Since He Who Remains had been killed by Sylvie Laufeydottir, the group decided to track down Miss Minutes, who could also provide access to the Loom's controls. As it happened, the artificial intelligence was in league with Ravonna Renslayer, who the TVA was tracking down through her TemPad. Together, both had traveled to 1868, smuggling a copy of the Time Variance Authority Official Handbook to Victor Timely in an attempt to ensure He Who Remains' future existence as part of a contingency plan He had devised. They then traveled to 1893, during the World's Columbian Exposition, where Timely was supposed to introduce his prototype of the Temporal Loom to the world, and where Loki and Mobius M. Mobius had tracked down Renslayer and Miss Minutes thanks to Casey's work on the former's TemPad.[1]

Having ended into the Time Variance Authority's custody, Victor Timely was taken to the organization's office by Loki and Mobius M. Mobius, soon to be joined by Sylvie Laufeydottir.[1] Timely was asked by Loki to help fix the Temporal Loom which was on the verge of going through a cataclysmic overload that would have unfathomable consequences on the Sacred Timeline it was supposed to preserve. Timely agreed to help, which would lead him to meet and work with Ouroboros to complete the Throughput Multiplier, which he would later attempt to place onto the Loom.[4]
Even though she had been spared by Laufeydottir, Ravonna Renslayer ended up stranded at the Citadel at the End of Time, where she found He Who Remains' corpse. However, she was not alone as she reactivated Miss Minutes,[1] who revealed her former partnership with He Who Remains that Renslayer had forgotten about, causing Renslayer and Miss Minutes to agree to take over the TVA for themselves without having to rely on He Who Remains.[4]
