The Chase of Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar was part of Tony Stark's quest for revenge for his kidnapping.

Tony Stark was kidnapped by the Ten Rings and learned that they were using weapons produced by Stark Industries. He escaped and began investigating who was selling the weapons, so he attacked two different facilities used by the Ten Rings, discovering that the weapons were being sold by someone within Stark Industries. He asked Pepper Potts to hack the company and find out who it was. Meanwhile, Stark continued his pursuit of the Ten Rings.[1]
Chase[]
- "Sir, the original heat signature has subsided, but it seems that the remaining Ten Rings forces are retreating to the north."
"Well, then we're gonna follow them north then, aren't we, JARVIS?" - ―J.A.R.V.I.S. and Tony Stark[src]
Tony Stark found Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar and began chasing him. Al-Wazar attempted to call Obadiah Stane for help, but Stane was more focused on whether he would be able to deliver what he was delivering to Stane. They agreed to still meet up as Stane became increasingly frustrated with Stark. J.A.R.V.I.S. told Stark that the Ten Rings were retreating north, so Stark continued to follow them.
Stark was confronted by several naval weapons in the water, which he destroyed. He began to get attacked by planes, and fought them while flying over dams. Stark was attacked by a large plane, which he destroyed. Meanwhile, al-Wazar retreated to his hideout and was rendered unconscious by Stane using the Sonic Taser.[1]

Interpol discovered Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar's body and reported on it, which J.A.R.V.I.S. picke dup on. Stark recognized al-Wazar symptoms as being from the Sonic Taser, causing Stark to realize that Obadiah Stane was the person who sold weapons to the Ten Rings. Stane kidnapped Pepper Potts, so Stark had James Rhodes save her while Stark fought Stane. Stark defeated Stane and was assured that his friends would help him.[1]
