The Chase of Danny Rand was an attempt by the DEA to track down and capture Danny Rand, who had been framed by Harold Meachum.

Background

"You've been messing with Danny ever since he's been back, haven't you?

After Madame Gao's defeat and Bakuto's death, Harold Meachum was released by Hand control. He decided to destroy Danny Rand's reputation and become leader of his company. Meachum changed files from the Hand tablet and give fake information to DEA. They send an armed squad to arrest Rand.

During training in Chikara Dojo with Colleen Wing, Danny Rand received message byWard Meachum. He wrote that Harold was betrayed Danny. A few moments later, he spotted armed men entering to dojo. Believing them to be a Hand, Rand and Wing defeated men, but later realized that they were DEA. Knowing that they were now hunted, Rand and Wing flee from the dojo.[5]

With Claire Temple's help Wing and Rand met with Jeri Hogarth. She told Rand about prosecution against him and Wing and showed documents with DEA evidence. Rand realized that this was files from tablet, changed by Harold Meachum. After failed attempt to take original documents from Gao, they decided to pick up tablet from Rand Enterprises Building.[6]
