Charlie worked for the Roxxon Corporation on a gulf platform. Suddenly, the platform exploded, killing him.[3]
Ivan Hess' Mind[]
Ivan Hess was the only man who survived the explosion and was put in a catatonic state where he relived the explosion over and over again. Charlie was turned into a Terror and attacked Cloak, Dagger, and Hess.[3]
