Establishment[]
Unable to escape without his Multiversal Engine Core, Kang the Conqueror established a main citadel in the city of Axia that he had constructed for his empire. The citadel became a basis for his operations and included a communications tower, and a prison.[1]
Imprisonment[]
Captured by M.O.D.O.K., Scott and Cassie Lang, along with Jentorra were taken to the citadel and imprisoned there. The Langs were then tortured by Kang the Conqueror until Scott agreed to preform a heist and retrieve the Multiversal Engine Core for him. Escaping, Cassie freed Jentorra, and the pair headed to the communications tower.[1]

Upon acquiring the Multiversal Engine Core, Kang the Conqueror initiated the launch of his empire in the attempt to escape the Quantum Realm. However, the Conqueror was stopped by Ant-Man and the Wasp, causing the citadel to collapse and the Conqueror to be sucked into the Multiversal Engine Core.[1]
