Cassius was a goat that was injured repeatedly as a test subject that Curtis Hoyle used in order to advance his medical skills consistently during his time as a Navy SARC.

While serving in the United States Navy, Curtis Hoyle was given a goat, which he named "Cassius" in reference to Cassius Clay, who he believed to be the "G.O.A.T." During their time spent together, Cassius was sent out into warzones, where he suffered from serious injury, often bullets, knife slashes, and bomb explosions. Hoyle was tasked to patch Cassius for every wound he suffered. Eventually, however, the wounds took too much of a toll on him and he passed away.[1]
