Cassie grew up with her father and mother always fighting. This eventually caused a divorce where her mother won custody, which was bad for Cassie as she disliked her mother. One day, Mitch took Cassie from her home and flew her down to Mexico to get away, which Cassie was okay with. Hired by her mother, Jessica Jones arrived and argued with Mitch. Jones ended up throwing Mitch and taking Cassie back to New York, angering Casie, who wanted to stay with her father.[1]
