Biography[]

Working for the Collector[]

Carina started working for the Collector as his slave, though she was regarded as an assistant.[1]

Theft of the Embers of Genesis[]

When T'Challa and Yondu Udonta made their way to the Collector's Museum, they were greeted by Carina, who guided them deeper into the museum and introduced them to Proxima Midnight. Once the group made their way into the main chamber, Carina introduced the two to the Collector.

Later on, T'Challa would be imprisoned by the Collector after he was found sneaking through the Collector's exhibits. Carina watched on alongside Ebony Maw as the Collector planned where to put T'Challa. However, while Maw was reprimanding Carina, T'Challa managed to escape, but Maw tried to stop him. Carina shot Maw in the back and helped free T'Challa.

Once the fight between T'Challa and the Collector ended, T'Challa imprisoned the Collector and gave Carina his bracelet, which she used to open the Collector's displays despite the Collector's pleas, releasing beings the Collector had imprisoned.[1]
