The Capture of Thor was a brief conflict between Scrapper 142 and a band of other Sakaaran Scrappers, who were both trying to capture Thor.
Background[]
Brunnhilde fights Hela
Brunnhilde was a member of the Valkyrie, a group of elite Asgardian warriors. The Valkyrie were sent by Odin to Hel to prevent Hela from escaping. All of the Valkyrie were massacred by Hela, with the exception of Brunnhilde. Following the massacre, Brunnhilde abandoned Asgard and settled on Sakaar, becoming a scrapper and a heavy drinker.
In 2017, Odin died, freeing Hela from her banishment. Thor and Loki fought her on Earth, but were easily overpowered as Hela destroyed Mjølnir. Thor and Loki attempted to escape to Asgard via the Bifrost. However, Hela followed her brothers into the Bifrost, knocking them both out, leaving them stranded on Sakaar.[1]

Lead Scrapper shoots Thor with the Magno Rifle
- "Are you a fighter? Or are you food?"
"I'm just passing through."

Almost immediately upon landing on Sakaar, Thor was met by a band of Sakaaran Scrappers. The Lead Scrapper asked Thor if he was a fighter or if he was food. Thor stated he was just passing through, and the Lead Scrapper deemed him food. Thor attempted to summon Mjølnir to no avail, as his hammer was destroyed. He attempted to fight off the scrappers weaponless, but the Lead Scrapper trapped him in an electric net, bringing him to the ground as the scrappers beat on him.
Scrapper 142 shoots the scrappers
Scrapper 142 arrived in her ship, and claimed Thor as hers. She drunkenly stumbled and fell off the side of her ship, causing the other scrappers to ignore her. She got up and once again claimed Thor as hers, and the Lead Scrapper decided they will capture her too. Scrapper 142 used her gauntlet to control her ship's weapons, using them to quickly kill almost all of the scrappers. One scrapper survived and tried to attack Scrapper 142, but she easily tossed him aside.
Thor thanked Scrapper 142, believing she had saved him, but she attached an Obedience Disk to his neck, electrocuting him and dragging him onboard she ship for sale to Grandmaster.[1]
Aftermath[]

Thor is sold to Grandmaster

Scrapper 142 sold Thor to Grandmaster for ten million Units, despite his pleas that he needed to get back to Asgard to stop Hela. Thor was entered into the Contest of Champions, where he had to fight the Grandmaster's champion, who to Thor's surprise turned out to be fellow Avenger Hulk.
Thor eventually managed to remind Scrapper 142 of her Asgardian heritage and her oath as a Valkyrie, and she, along with Banner and Loki, assisted Thor in escaping the Grandmaster's imprisonment and Sakaar. She joined Thor on his trip back to Asgard to take down Hela.[1]
