The Capture of Baldo was one of the bounty hunter missions that Rocket and Groot took in his time prior to joining the Guardians of the Galaxy, when they chased and captured the criminal Baldo in the space port of Paramatar.

Rocket and Groot discovered a 900 Unit bounty placed on Baldo. They decided to agree to the bounty, which had been placed by D'Xtar.[1]
Capture[]
Rocket found Baldo at the hub space port on Paramatar, and Baldo ran away, haphazardly firing his gun. Rocket continued to chase him, expressing confidence that Baldo would be caught while the criminal left the station. Baldo hid behind a tree, which turned out to be Groot, who started moving and threatened him, allowing Rocket to point his weapon to Baldo's back.[1]
Aftermath[]
Baldo was brought to D'Xtar, who had placed the bounty. Despite the bounty being 900 Units, D'Xtar only gave Rocket and Groot 400 Units. Rocket argued with him, but Groot learned of a bounty that had been placed on Rocket, so the two left.[1]
