Yen Killing Tate

Cameron Tate was appointed the CEO and COO of a company run by his brother, Edward Tate, who had apparently killed himself. Being seen as the more camera-happy member of the family, Tate's appointment stopped the company's stock prices from plummeting.[5] However, Tate did not believe that he committed suicide, so he visited Ana Helstrom's Auction House, where he met Chris Yen. Yen offered to show security footage, but said he did not need to see it, as he was aware that his brother attended the auction. Yen told Tate that he was aware that he had helped Edward choose his victims and kill them.

Cameron Tate mentioned that Yen could not prove his involvement in his brother's murders, and Yen said he would not need to, asking seemingly nobody for their thoughts, confusing Tate. Yen briefly left Tate and returned with a battle axe, which he used to attack Tate.[3] He went hit Tate, causing him to fall, and Tate tried to get back up. However, Yen then used the axe again to drag him back down to the floor, before hitting him in the back, killing him. Daimon and Ana Helstrom worked together to cover up the murder, and Daimon burned Tate's corpse.[6]
