Tony Stark was ordered to bring the Aerodynamic Marvel pilot who he had rescued to the Cairo West Air Base, where the military was waiting for them. The pilot had gone into shock, and Stark told the medical team that he would cover any medical expenses that the Air Force wouldn't. Thaddeus Ross scolded Stark because he didn't fire back on the Congolese Army when they fired at him. Stark defended his actions, and Ross tried to refer to Iron man as a weapon. Stark revealed that he had researched Ross, and threatened to bring consequences should another innocent person get hurt by a military agenda meant to manipulate Iron Man. Stark then left, advising Ross to stay within his own area of expertise.[1]
