Cairo, officially the Cairo Governorate is a governorate located in Egypt, Africa.
History[]
Rescued Pilots[]
Having rescued the pilot from the Aerodynamic Marvel, Tony Stark brought him to the Cairo West Air Base, where he was placed in medical care. Stark had a conversation with Thaddeus Ross about the rescue, and told Ross he would not put innocent lives in harms way.[1]
Search for Arthur Harrow[]
Losing time, Marc Spector ended up in the city of Cairo looking for Arthur Harrow. He managed to track down some of the Disciples of Ammit and fight them for information. However, when Spector beat them, he lost more time and ended up on a cliff overlooking the city and having killed Alpha and Beta. Needing to find Harrow quickly, Khonshu ordered Spector to take the Young Punk to the cliff and threaten him for more information. However, the punk did not talk, and instead chose to end his own life. With no other option, Khonshu altered the sky to initiate a meeting of the Ennead Council. Spector left Cairo through an portal in the city.[2][3]
Anton Mogart's Estate[]
Sent by Yatzil to find Senfu's Sarcophagus, Marc Spector and Layla El-Faouly headed to see one of her old friends, Anton Mogart. Mogart owned an estate in Cairo where he kept several ancient Egyptan artifacts. When Spector and El-Faouly arrived at Mogart's estate, he showed them Senfu's sarcophagus. Before Spector could put all the pieces of the map hidden inside the sarcophagus, Arthur Harrow showed up and offered Mogart riches. Harrow destroyed the sarcophagus and left, leaving Spector to fight Mogart and his bodyguards. While Spector finished fighting the bodyguards, El-Faouly obtained the map. Spector then fought Mogart, injuring him. With the guards and Mogart beaten, Spector and El-Faouly left the estate.[3]
