"Caged Heat" was a rejected television pilot that starred Trevor Slattery before he was approached by Aldrich Killian for his "role" as the Mandarin.
History
When Trevor Slattery was in Seagate Prison for his crimes as the Mandarin, he was interviewed by Jackson Norris about his past. During the interview, Slattery discussed "Caged Heat," the television show in which he starred before Aldrich Killian approached him. The TV pilot was rejected.[1]
Since that show, Slattery had plastic surgery so people did not correlate him with the televised messages he gave for A.I.M. acting as the Mandarin.
