The Central Intelligence Agency, better known by its acronym CIA, is a major intelligence service that specializes in foreign operations on behalf of the United States of America.

S.H.I.E.L.D. Sleeper Agents[]

CIA received a report from Daniel Sousa who suspected that S.H.I.E.L.D. might have been infiltrated by HYDRA sleeper agents after World War II. Daisy Johnson would disguise herself as a CIA agent to discuss the situaition with Sousa at Area 51.[1]
