A friend of Peggy Carter and Natasha Romanoff's, Bruce Banner worked closely with the Avengers. Romanoff suggested having Banner take a look at Steve Rogers when he was knocked unconcious in the HYDRA Stomper Armor, but Carter shot the idea down.^[2]
