- In the comics, Brother Nature was a former park ranger who became an eco-terrorist. He was left for dead by a developer, but was given his nature powers by Gaea and sought to protect the Earth. He ran afoul of Captain America who showed him that he was also to blame for damaging the Earth and he turned himself in to the authorities.
