Currently, the vast majority of the Events article are written with an extremely formulaic content that reads as "The EVENT NAME was an attempt of..."
This kind of formulas are something that should and have to be avoided when writing articles, as they induce boredom to readers. Each event should have a very unique introduction that summarizes it, while also encouraging readers to "know more" by reading the actual body of the article.
So, because of this, I'm requesting your asistance to change all events to what they should be. Besides the badges for both editing and the editing track for events, you'll be granted an exclusive "Captain America Comic" Award in your profile.
The only thing you will have to do is to fully rewrite the summary for, at least, five event articles that currently use that formula to match this wiki's standards, avoiding the "attempts of" formula listed above. Once you have edited the five of them, be sure to post them in this thread, as only the editors who announce their edits on this thread before August 19, 23:59 UTC will be granted the Award.
On the other hand, due to past misuse of the announcement threads, all spam messages or topics unrelated to the subject of the announcement will be deleted from this particular thread, and spammers may be blocked depending on the severity of the spamming.
Have fun while editing!
