Iron Man 3 Review by Blathereen
Iron Man 3 is the first movie set after The Avengers/Avengers Assemble and the first movie in Phase 2 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It of course would be Iron Man as he started the franchise and is the most popular of The Avengers; so, how does his third movie do? Well, I first went to see Iron Man 3 late last month in 3D and the again tonight in 2D, so it has marinated in my mind a bit and also had a refresh and in the end Iron Man 3 is just..... AWESOME! Yes I love it! The third installment if a brilliant piece of cinema and is just an enjoyable experience to watch. This movie has a different directer from 1 and 2 and you can defiantly see that; its differs so much from what we've seen of Iron Man movies, the story, the settings, th…
Should we make an article about magic?
I mean, magic seems to exist in Marvel Cinematic Universe, but it's very ambiguously defined. Sometimes it's treated as a form of advenced alien science, other times as genuine magic. What you all think about magic in the context of Marvel Cinematic Universe as a whole?
Iron Man 3 review (no spoilers)
Director: Shane Black
Writers: Drew Pearce, Shane Black
Cast: Robert Downey, Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Ben Kingsley, Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Rebecca Hall
Studio: Marvel Studios, Walt Disney Studios
Following on from last year's The Avengers, Robert Downey, Jr. returns as Tony Stark and his alter ego Iron Man. This time he faces a very powerful terrorist as well as his own personal demons.
After the disappointing second film, Shane Black takes the director's chair previously occupied by Jon Favreau. Having previously worked with Downey on Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Black injects some much-needed new blood into the franchise.
Having grown used to being top dog in prior films, Tony's world has been shattered by the events of The Avengers. Fighting against gods …
The end of "Marvel's"
I think we should stop putting the word "Marvel's" in the name of pages. It's obvious that it's Marvel's. That's kinda why they named it the Marvel Cinematic Universe. People, just because the comic has the Marvel logo on it doesn't mean we have to make the title show it's ownership (which it kinda doesn't have since it's owned by Disney). Please consider this idea.
I'm ba-ack!
Sorry I've been gone so long but I've been kind of busy. Now that I'm back I had an amazing idea:
Getting us some recognition on the Entertainment Wiki.
If you look on thier page for Marvel Comics you can see that this wiki's logo and name are present on there. No need to thank me (but I would love it).
The Avengers Honest Trailer
Give this a look and tell me what you think of it. I found it quite funny.

Should The Amazing Spider-Man be tied into the Marvel Cinematic Universe? (updated with poll)
There has been a lot of talk about whether or not The Amazing Spider-Man can be made part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and if Andrew Garfield will appear in The Avengers 2. I'm going to examine the evidence for and against this.
The biggest issue is that the characters and stories that appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe are those still owned by Marvel, while Spider-Man is currently owned by Sony. If the two studios can make a deal, they could make the films part of the same universe.
It was originally planned that the Oscorp Tower that appeared in The Amazing Spider-Man would be part of the New York skyline in The Avengers, but by the time the tower was completed it was too late to include it.
It has been confirmed that Iron Man 3 will feat…
Is there a possibility that Pepper will appear as Rescue in Iron Man 3?
I wonder if there's a possibility that Pepper Potts will appear as Rescue in Iron Man 3?
How long is Marvel Studios delaying her first appearance as Rescue?! I hope that third Iron Man film better have Rescue in it!
Pls. write your comments below if you have something to say about it. Thank you.
Was Erik Selvig really being controlled?
Warning: For those of you who haven't seen the films, Thor and The Avengers, don't read this blog post until you see both of those films.
I'm extremely confused about one thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In the after-credit scene in Thor, Erik Selvig was brought to a S.H.I.E.L.D. facility where he was told of the Tesseract. Soon Loki controls Selvig, but in The Avengers Loki didn't control Selvig until he came to Earth.
I think that it was just a reference to Loki going to control Selvig in The Avengers.
I want to know what you think. Please put why you chose it in the comments (if you want to).
The Avengers Review by Blathereen
Yes, where I come from it's Avengers Assemble, but lets go with the rest of the world. Well, finally! The big one! They all come together and assemble! Iron Man, Hulk, Thor and Captain America come together with Hawkeye & Black Widow to take down Loki. I saw this at the cinema (not in 3D) and I really enjoyed it. The way I put the trailer clips together into a story in went completely a different way which I was glad of. I enjoyed how they did it and how they brought them together and how they disagree and then find out they need each other. There are a few twists in this that I really wasn't expecting. The dialogue in this movie absolutely awesome and so funny, more jokes and hilarious quips than I expected which were really good. I'm glad …
Captain America: The First Avenger Review by Blathereen
The First is the Last. So, I have to tell you now, this is my favourite ever Marvel film. It is brilliant. It tells the story of Steve Rodgers who is a little person who is defiantly not strong but because he has a good heart he is chosen by an eavesdropper to take part in a military experiment known as: The Super Soldier program!, sound familiar? Well they did mention it in The Incredible Hulk. From then on it is really good with awesome action sequences and one of my favourite villains. The best thing about this film I think is the humour; Tommy Lee Jones is hilarious and some some of the scenes in this film will have you in stitches. I loved every moment watching it. The special effects where really good and the tech was awesome which w…
How The Marvel Cinematic Universe Should Have Ended
I think you've heard of the How It Should Have Ended short films on Youtube or something else. This is just an overview of that.
- 1 Iron Man
- 2 Thor
- 3 Captain America: The First Avenger
- 4 The Avengers
- 5 Your Choise
Which one is your favorite? Please put your reason why in the comments (optional).
Thor Film Review by Blathereen
Heimdall is an awesome character! No questions asked. Thor. Initially I didn't want to see this movie because I thought it was all about magic and stuff which I hate but when I learnt it was in the Marvel Cinematic Universe I thought I'd see what it was like and to my surprise it is mostly Sci-Fi with elements of fantasy. I liked the outer space setting and different planets and that was really good; I liked the humour in this film as it is very good in most MCU films. The other characters where great and Phil Coulson was awesome giving us an Iron Man mention, and then Dr. Selvig references Hulk so that was interesting that they could tie it all together. There were a lot more special effects in this movie as there are aliens and wormholes…
iron Man 2 Review by Blathereen
His last enemy was in a robot suit! But this enemy IS..........in a robotic suit. I'm starting to see a pattern.
Iron Man 2! The only sequel in Phase 1 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Everyone knows who Tony Stark, everyone wants the Iron Man suit, and some Russian guy is out for revenge. I have to say this is my least favourite of the MCU so far mostly, I think, because you've pretty much seen it before, with the first film; he is still a big-headed billionaire who saves people and he wears an awesome suit (which is nothing bad) but your not surprised by much, you know what tom expect. The story line wasn't bad though, it goes into Tony's past and we get to see his dad (who actually appears in Captain America: The first Avenger) and we get…
Fox's Marvel Cinematic Universe?

I don't feel comfortable with two Marvel Cinematic Universes occupying different spaces. What about you?
The Incredible Hulk Review by Blathereen
"Don't make me hungry"
The Incredible Hulk is the second MCU film and brings on Bruce Banner to the mix who has a disturbing past and is now in hiding from the government. The beginning of this film is really good and shows exactly who Bruce Banner is and what happened and what normal life is for him and that was really good and then the government find him and he has to go on the run again so he heads of to America to confront some old memories and to get answers; The Hulk itself wasn't bad at all either and the graphics were really good and then I liked how they referenced Captain America with the Super Soldier serum which created the Abomination which is just was scary, ugly, bad looking guy. I enjoyed this film a lot when I first saw it…
Iron Man Review by Blathereen
YES! The I am reviewing the Marvel Cinematic Universe!
[1]Iron Man starts it all off with a genius billionaire known as Tony Stark played by the brilliant Robbie Downey Jr. He gets taken and learn some life lessons which turns him into a superhero! He is my favourite my Avenger mostly because his film and persona seems the most realistic. I really like Probable Science Fiction and I love the film Iron Man. I have no knowledge of the comics but I really enjoy the movies and this one is my second favourite MCU film. I enjoyed the enemy, the story was fantastic and it is very funny in some places. 1 or 2 references hint a bigger universe and then you see the post-credit scene and your amazingly hyped for everything Marvel. So Iron Man is the b…

Captain America's Future Lonelyness
I don't know how many of you feel bad for Captain America considering that he was frozen for over 70 years and has all of his friends (with an exeption of Bucky *wink*) have aged and are either in their 90s or more or have died. I don't know how many of you bought The Avengers recently but in the disc there were some extended scenes. One of which was a scene where Cap was looking through some files of agents from there Strategic Scientific Reserve and S.H.I.E.L.D.. He also found Peggy Carter's file and it had her phone number on it but he decided not to call her. You're probably thinking "You mooncalf (It's a word. Look it up. Search it at this link.)! You should have called! (mumbling mean things)" or "I understand, your just not ready to…
Team Edward or Team Mark
Now I know that if you have seen (or have relatives who make you see) Twilight movies this title might sound a little like Team Edward or Team Jacob. This has NOTHING to do with that terribleness (no offence you Twighlight fans). This is about the actors for Bruce Banner.
This is not Edward Cullen. It is Edward Norton. Edward played Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk.
Mark Ruffalo played Bruce Banner in The Avengers.
Personally I like both of them but I want to hear what you have to say. If you vote then please put why you chose who you chose in the coments. If you don't want to explain why it's fine.
My hopes for Phase 3
These are my hopes for Phase 3 (if you're too lazy to read the title, that was the last time I put that in my blogs).
- 1 Black Panther
- 1.1 Story
- 1.2 Actors
- 2 Luke Cage
- 2.1 Story
- 2.2 Actors
- 3 The Incredible Hulk 2
- 3.1 Story
- 3.2 Actors
- 4 Avengers: Infinity War
- 4.1 Story
- 4.2 Actors
I think that they should finally make the Black Panther movie.
It should be about T'Challa trying to become a great leader and defending Wakanda. There should also be a scene showing T'Chaka giving Howard Stark some Vibranium to make Captain America's sheild. The main villain should be Man-Ape. In the after-credits scene it should have Nick Fury asking T'Challa to join the Avengers.
- Wesley Snipes as T'Challa / Black Panther
- Kevin Michael Richardson as Man-Ape
- Djimon Hounsou as T'Chaka (flashbac…
My hopes for The Avengers 2
This is a list if what I hope to see in The Avengers 2 (if your too lazy to read the title, that should probably be my catch-phrase).
- 1 Story
- 2 Phil's return
- 3 New Heroes
- 3.1 Spider-Man
- 4 Villains
I think it's going to be about Thanos trying to steal the Infinity Gauntlet from Odin's trophy room.
There have been many rumours that Phil Coulson will return as Vision. If these aren't true then I'll go take a long nap and try to forget that Phil is dead... forever... and is never coming back.
They are already adding more heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, like Ant-Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy (I really don't see how the Guardians of the Galaxy are going to be part of it).
I hope that Sony and Disney will be able to join forces so that Spider-Ma…
My hopes for Phase 2
This is a list of my hopes for future films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (incase your to lazy to read the title).
- 1 Iron Man 3
- 2 Thor: The Dark World
- 3 Captain America: The Winter Soldier
- 4 Guardians of the Galaxy
- 5 Ant-Man
I hope they bring back Faran Tahir as Raza Hamidmi al-Wazar but like he is in the comics where he is a cyborg.
I hope they get Liam Hemsworth as Balder, Elsa Pataky as the Enchantress, and Pierce Brosnan as the Executioner.
I hope Hugo Weaving returns as Red Skull showing that the Tesseract didn't destroy him.
I hope that Jake Abel would play Star-Lord, Tom Hardy as Drax the Destroyer, Leonard Nimoy as the voice of Groot, Simon Pegg as the voice of Rocket Raccoon, and Michelle Rodriguez as Gamora.
I hope they get Aaron Eckhart to …
Guardians of the Galaxy
I don't know about you guys, but I've been wondering about how Guardians of the Galaxy will tie into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It seems obvious that Thanos would appear in it, and it could possibly give us a taste of the Infinity Gauntlet's power (similar to how Captain America: The First Avenger showed us the Tesseract), but besides that, would else could happen?
I think its worth asking for ideas, given to how little information has been revealed so far.
Spotlight
We have now been accepted for a spotlight!! It's great news to hear. Thank you everyone who has contributed to make it possible and I would like to thank Uskok for contributiong so much. I hope we could get more contributes to make this wiki grow. :)
WinThe Fight - (Stay the Night Parody)
Here is an Avengers themed parody of the song Stay the Night by James Blunt:
Ooooooh, Oooooooh, Ooooooh, hey! There’s 6 of us today, zero chance of loss Nick Fury is our boss. We’re all assembling as one, to become really strong Don’t make Banner cross The Chituri came from afar, they made a lot of din And by the time that it was dark, we all destroyed them, yeah! And if Thor is what we’ve got, then what we’ve got is gold We’re flying high and I want you, I want you to know The war is on it’s way, our friend Phil just said goodbye There’s nowhere it can go, I think that we’ll win the fight The Hulk is really green Loki is kinda mean We’ve got Iron Man zooming by And though you’ve got a platoon Please do keep in mind: “Oh No” Because we are go…
Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki Adoption
I have requested adoption for the wiki but they have said I needed to create a blog post asking if everyone is happy with me as admin. Ok, so the reasons why I think I should be admin is because the wiki is in really bad shape at the moment. Mostly because of the things I can only do with administrative abilities. I want to fix page names, the character template which was protected by the admin before they left for some reason, I want to fix the Wiki Navigation, I want to add a countdown for the Iron Man 3 movie like on X-Men Movies Wiki and I want to fix the design. WIth me as admin, We can get this wiki up to date before Iron Man 3. Please leave a comment saying whether you agree or disagree whether I should be admin. This blog post only…
The Avengers Sequels
After The Avengers, we know there will be an Iron Man 3 movie next year, a Thor 2 and Captain America 2. A sequel to The Incredible Hulk may take place soon but has not been announced if confirmed. The Avengers 2 may be released in 2016 while the other solo films take place. What do you want to see in the future solo films? What characters would you like to see be developed? Do you think continuing solo movies after the team got together is a good thing? Leave your comments below
Aggressive Edtiing Needed!!!!!
I'm so sorry for being inactive. I will start editing as much as I can. I've just been extremely busy. I promise that this wiki will indeed be ready in time for The Avengers release.
