The Blip was a plot by the Avengers to resurrect half of all life.

Background

Thanos snapped his fingers using all Infinity Stones, which wiped out half of all life.

Blip

Five years later, the Avengers plotted to obtain all six Infinity Stones, which they eventually did. They then snapped their fingers, allowing all life to come back. They then had a subsequent fight with Thanos, leading to his and Iron Man's deaths.

Aftermath

Once saving the Emergence Response Team, Doctor Strange had to talk to them about all that transpired in the Blip and afterwards.
