Blacksmith's Ship was a ship used by the Blacksmith as a part of his heroin smuggling operation.

History[]

"There's a lot of gunpowder below decks. Any of these guys starts shooting, this whole ship..."
"It'll blow straight to hell."
"We gotta get off this boat before they open fire."
"You're goddamn right you do."
Daredevil and Punisher[src]

Ray Schoonover acquired a ship to transport heroin from Afghanistan to United States of America and docked it at Pier 81 in New York City. After interrogating Chaney, the Punisher managed to track down the ship and arrived at the pier in an attempt to find and kill Blacksmith. Castle gunned down several mercenaries who were guarding the ship and boarded the ship where he found a significant stash of heroin on board. Castle then started to search for Blacksmith, before he was attacked by the mercenary there so he had to confront him.

Castle hunted down the last man on the ship, engaging in a brief gunfight and managed to injure him. He assumed that the last mercenary was actually the Blacksmith, so he demanded him to talk. The man half-heartedly admitted to being the Blacksmith and begged for death before Castle was about to gun him down. Suddenly, Daredevil who received an information about the ship from Madame Gao, stopped Castle and told him that the man was lying.

Castle engaged in a combat with Daredevil, which ended with Daredevil defeating Castle and revealing that the man was just a patsy to bait Castle. Daredevil sensed there was a substantial amount of gunpowder below decks, which would cause a massive explosion if the gasoline from earlier was ignited. As the group of mercenaries, led by Gosnell arrived at the pier to kill Castle, he pushed Daredevil into the water to save him and provoked the mercenaries to open fire and the ship exploded, causing shrapnel to kill Gosnell and his men while Castle was barely able to survive and escape.[1]

Brett Mahoney and Karen Page arrived at the pier only to find the pile of corpses and destroyed ship. Mahoney had acknowledged this would be the largest siege of heroin their police department had taken in year, while Page looked at the wreckage of the ships for Castle. At the next morning, NYPD arrived at the pier to clear out all the wreckage, wrap dead bodies and investigate the area. NYPD concluded that Castle did not survive the explosion even though they could not find his body.[2]
