The Black Order, also known as the Children of Thanos, was an elite team comprised of powerful individuals who used their abilities to serve their adoptive father Thanos. In 2018, they were sent to Earth by their father in order to obtain the Infinity Stones; however, the world's population was being infected by the Quantum Virus. Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian were killed by the group of surviving heroes after being infected by zombies.
History[]
Zombie Apocalypse[]
A few days after the zombie apocalypse had begun, Bruce Banner had been sent from the Statesman to warn the Avengers about Thanos. However, as Banner came out of the New York Sanctum, he was ambushed by Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian. As Maw was making his speech, he was attacked by Tony Stark as a portal opened up, revealing Stark, Stephen Strange, and Wong.
Banner was happy to see Stark as the three began attacking Maw and Obsidian as Banner watched from a distance. However, he realized that the three had become zombies and had infected Maw and Obsidian. The five began attacking Banner, but he was saved by Hope van Dyne, Peter Parker, and the Cloak of Levitation as they made their escape.[1]

- Cull Obsidian's Chain Hammer: Cull Obsidian's weapon was a massive war hammer which could be turned into a plethora of different weapons based on Obsidian's desire.
Vehicles[]
- Q-Ship: Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian used one of these ships to travel and arrive on Earth. They descended near the New York Sanctum in order to obtain the Time Stone.
