Berkowitz is brought to trial when the parents of Aaron James sued his company for their son's disability. During the trial, Berkowitz admitted to gaining access and usage to a material that was cheaper. Although Berkowitz did not admit to it, Matt Murdock commented that Berkowitz could have willingly ignored the warnings for using the materials. Berkowitz then settled the case and gave the James family eleven million dollars.[1]
