- "Ned, May cannot know! I cannot do that to her right now! You know? I mean, everything that's happened with her, I... Please."
- ―Peter Parker to Ned Leeds[src]
Benjamin Franklin "Ben" Parker was May Parker's husband and Peter Parker's uncle.
Biography[]
Ben Parker met and married May. Although never having children of his own, both Parker and May would come to look after their young and orphaned nephew, Peter. The three lived in Queens, New York City, New York until, eventually, Parker died, deeply affecting his family as May was left to raise Peter by herself.[2]
Legacy[]
- "Look, when you can do the things that I can, but you don't... and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you."
- ―Peter Parker to Tony Stark[src]
Parker's death, and how it impacted May, was the main reason that Peter decided not to reveal that he was secretly Spider-Man.[2][3]
Parker was survived by his wife, May (who wore her wedding ring around her neck),[4] and nephew, Peter (who brought a briefcase bearing his uncle's initials, BFP, on his school trip).[1]

Behind the Scenes[]
- John Francis Daley wanted to have a direct reference to Ben Parker in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which would have been a scene where May Parker gives Ben's old clothes to Peter Parker when he was getting ready for homecoming, but the idea was eventually abandoned.[5]
