Ben is a reporter who attended a press conference held by Tony Stark.
History[]
Tony Stark held a press conference the day of his return from being kidnapped in Afghanistan. Ben attended the press conference and stood in the front row, but found Stark to be sitting in front of the podium. Obadiah Stane introduced Stark, who requested that everyone sit, so Ben and the rest of the reporters obliged. Stark started talking about his realization that United States military industrial complex did not allow for accountability, prompting Ben to raise his hand. Stark called on Ben, who asked what happened in Afghanistan. Stark stood up and said that he realized he needed to make more than weapons, and would therefore be shutting down the weapons manufacturing division of Stark Industries. Ben and the rest of the reporters stood to ask follow-up questions, but Stane pushed Stark away and announced happily that Stark had returned.[1]
