The Battle of New York Memorial is located in New York City, near Grand Central Terminal. It is dedicated to the first incarnation of the Avengers, who first assembled there in 2012 to fight in the Battle of New York.

Recovering from the aftermath of the Battle of New York, New York City built the Battle of New York Memorial to commemorate the brave heroes that fought to protect the city. A plaque containing the names of Tony Stark, Steve Rogers, Thor Odinson, Bruce Banner, Natasha Romanoff and Clint Barton, was posted to mark the site where the Avengers first assembled.[1]

Deciding to put on the Ronin Suit one more time, Clint Barton decided to visit the Battle of New York Memorial to speak to the memory of Natasha Romanoff. Taking out his hearing aid, he spoke with "her" and asked for forgiveness for what he was about to do.[1]
