The Battle at Stark Expo was a destructive battle between Iron Man and Justin Hammer's Hammer Drones.

Battle

Justin Hammer took the stage at Stark Expo in New York City, where he presented his new Hammer Drones that could be used for military purposes. However, the drones unexpectadly went haywire and caused massive chaos at the event, until Iron Man intervened and stopped them.

Aftermath

In the wake of the incident, Justin Hammer was arrested and incarcerated in the Seagate Penitentiary, from where he would bide his time and plan his revenge. Hammer decided that he wanted to become a superhero that can outshine the Avengers themselves, and for that he needed a sample of Hulk's blood. Four years later, Hammer and his goons broke into the Avengers Tower during the Christmas party, while the Avengers were not present, so Happy Hogan and Maria Hill were his only real obstacles.
