Agent Barrie is an agent of the United States Department of Damage Control who aided Sadie Deever in her quest to apprehend Kamran and Ms. Marvel.
Biography[]
- "We're chasing multiple suspects. All identical. I repeat, all identical."
"What, he can multiply now?" - ―Damage Control Agent and Barrie[src]
As a Damage Control operative, Barrie accompanied Sadie Deever to the remains of the Circle Q store that had been destroyed by a Damage Control drone hunting down Kamran. As Deever lamented on what happened when teenagers got superhuman powers, Barrie was instructed to set up patrols to capture Kamran alive so Damage Control could interrogate him.
Barrie later came to Coles Academic High School since both Kamran and Ms. Marvel were hiding inside with several of their friends. He remained at Deever's side outside the school while the operatives launched the operation to capture the targets, wondering whether Kamran could multiply after hearing reports of multiple suspects. He then had the agents form a perimeter around the school shortly before Kamran exited the school, and then fired at Kamran as he refused to surrender. However, Barrie's bullets, just like everyone else's, were shielded by Ms. Marvel.
Barrie was then forced to retreat when Ms. Marvel, having fully mastered her powers, jumped towards him and destroyed the sonic cannon Damage Control had been using against her. He fired his gun at her, but she once again blocked his bullets. Once Kamran joined in thr fight and unleashed his powers, Barrie was knocked onto the ground and could not do anything but watch as Ms. Marvel was able to calm down Kamran and helped him escape. Barrie and Deever then tried to apprehend Ms. Marvel, going past Richardson and Ruby, but she escaped before they could reach her.
With the battle lost by Damage Control, Barrie handed over a phone to Deever with P. Cleary on the line relieving Deever from duty and ordering the officers to leave the place at once, and Barrie carried out the order.[1]

- Handgun: As a Damage Control agent, Barrie was issued a standard pistol he used against Kamran and Ms. Marvel, although his bullets were constantly blocked by the latter.
