Baron Karl Amadeus Mordo is the Sorcerer Supreme and a member of the Illuminati. Once Doctor Strange was executed by Black Bolt, Mordo received the title of Sorcerer Supreme.
Mordo trained and eventually became a Master of the Mystic Arts. In 2016, he met Doctor Stephen Strange. They befriended each other, becoming great friends. However, Strange would go on to become the Sorcerer Supreme, and would later found the Illuminati. Mordo would eventually become jealous of him.[1]
Becoming Sorcerer Supreme
During the Infinity War in 2018, Doctor Strange used the Darkhold to dreamwalk across the Multiverse for a possible solution to the conflict. This led to the destruction of an entire reality due to an Incursion.
Strange confessed to the rest of the team that he had destroyed a reality, and Strange asked the rest of the team to kill him to protect the Multiverse. In response, Black Bolt reluctantly unleashed a sonic scream onto Strange, killing him. Due to Strange's death, the role of Sorcerer Supreme was given to Mordo, and Mordo also became the new member of the Illuminati.[1]

Magic: As the Sorcerer Supreme, Mordo was known to be one of the most powerful and skilled members of the Masters of the Mystic Arts, possessing a considerable mastery of the mystic arts and magical power.
Mordo is a highly skilled and formidable swordsman. He attempted to kill Doctor Strange through his sword mastery, but Strange outsmarted him by making Mordo cut off his handcuffs, allowing Strange to escape Mordo.
