The Barbershop Headquarters served as a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. facility. It was located in Havana, Cuba. It was taken over by HYDRA during the S.H.I.E.L.D. Civil War and used by the Centipede Project.
History
It was used by John Garrett and HYDRA. Agent Ward takes Raina to the barbershop, introducing her to the real Clairvoyant, John Garrett, before he explains the deception of his abilities, and activates a lever that takes her to a secret chamber downstairs.
Underground, Garrett revealed to Raina that while he was in the Guest House, he procured various samples of drugs similar to the one that resurrected Agent Phil Coulson. However, none of those samples have resurrected the corpses he had; therefore, he needed her to continue her work on the Centipede Project.
When Garrett and Ward returned from raiding the Fridge, they brought Ian Quinn with them and showed him that they had obtained the Gravitonium.[1]
Ian Quinn got a haircut from Ernesto for five dollars before he departs to Washington, D.C.. Meanwhile, Garrett ordered the abandonment of the place so that they could set up in Miami, Florida.
When Coulson's Team found the headquarters, Kaminsky was waiting for them.[2]
Coulson's team battled Kaminsky and a group of Centipede-enhanced soldiers until Melinda May procured the Berserker Staff and destroyed the headquarters' support beams, causing the place to collapse and burying her opponents.[3]

Trivia
- The Barbershop is a reference to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s secret headquarters in the comics. The base was disguised as a regular neighborhood barbershop, with trained S.H.I.E.L.D. agents handling your haircut and shave. By sitting in one of the barber’s chair, you’re whisked underground to the true secret base.[4]
