Bucky Barnes' Arrest[]
Bucky Barnes was arrested for missing his court-mandated therapy session and brought to the Baltimore therapy session. His released was organized by John Walker, who issued an order making it no longer necessary for Barnes to attend said sessions. Barnes' therapist, Christina Raynor, decided to hold a therapy session with Barnes and Sam Wilson, so she took them into an interrogation room in the police station.
Raynor sat Wilson and Barnes down in the interrogation room and attempted to get them to confront their feelings about each other, but they instead made fun of each other. Raynor used a couples therapy session to attempt to get them to open up to each other, but they deflected by having a staring contest, causing Raynor to comment on their immaturity. Raynor finally got Barnes to tell Wilson why he was upset about Wilson giving up Captain America's Shield, as Barnes explained that if Steve Rogers was wrong about Wilson being ready to be Captain America, he felt that it meant Rogers was also wrong about him being redeemable. Wilson asks Barnes to accept his decision, but Barnes could not, so they agreed to part ways after stopping the Flag Smashers. Wilson left and Raynor complimented Barnes on his breakthrough, but Barnes left, telling Raynor that he would have to hurt people.
Barnes and Wilson left the police station, where Walker and Lemar Hoskins asked to work together, but they refused. Barnes decided to ask Helmut Zemo for information about the Flag Smashers, believing that Hydra was in part responsible for the new Super Soldier Serum.[1]
