Behind the Scenes[]
- Balder the Brave was considered to be included in Thor, Thor: The Dark World, and Thor Ragnarok. However, the idea to include Balder ended up being scrapped every time.[3]
- An alternate version of Balder the Brave, played by Daniel Craig, was originally supposed to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as a member of the Illuminati.[4] However, Craig backed out of the role due to concerns of contracting COVID-19, prompting Marvel Studios to replace the character with Mister Fantastic instead.[5]
