Balam's Box of Transformation is a relic drawing on the power of Balam in possession of the Masters of the Mystic Arts.

History

Balam's Box of Transformation was stored in the Cabinet of Caballeros. In an attempt to defend the Astral Ring from Dormammu, Doctor Strange used Balam's Box of Transformation to try to alter the ring's molecular structure by manipulating the fabric of its reality to such an extent that Dormammu would be unable to find it. Strange placed the ring in the box and successfully completed the ritual to transform the ring's molecular structure, but he feared that doing so was not enough to protect the ring from Dormammu, leading him to instead seek out the Spectral Staff for further protection.

Capabilities

Balam's Box of Transformation was capable of drawing on the power of Balam to alter the molecular structure of any object placed within it by manipulating the fabric of that object's reality once the correct ritual spell was cast.
