History[]
Family Home[]
- "My wife and I, we, uh, live with my sister and my niece."
- ―Hector Ayala[src]
The Ayala Residence was an apartment in New York City, situated close to the 168th Street Station, where Hector Ayala lived with his wife Soledad Ayala, his sister Awilda Ayala-Del Toro, and his niece Angela Del Toro. Hector operated as White Tiger, using a white suit and an mystical amulet, which the other members of the house were aware of,[1] although Soledad was not a fan of Hector's vigilantism. When he did not operate as a vigilante, Hector kept the suit and amulet in a box underneath his bed.[2]
Legal Visit[]

- "Now, if I could just get Hector's suit for court?"
"Okay, it's on the bed. I can get it together."
"No, no, no, no. You two stay and talk." - ―Cherry and Soledad Ayala[src]
On December 31, 2026, Hector Ayala was arrested for the murder of NYPD officer Kel Shanahan.[2][2] In early 2027, Kirsten McDuffie and Cherry went to the Ayala Residence to speak with Hector's wife Soledad Ayala. Invited inside, the duo spoke to Soledad, who spoke of her dissastisfaction with Hector. Cherry informed Soledad that he needed a suit for Hector to wear in court, and when Soledad offered to get it for him, Cherry told her to stay and speak with McDuffie while he retrieved the suit. As McDuffie and Soledad spoke, Cherry investigated Hector's bedroom and kicked the box underneath his bed. As he pulled out the box, he found the White Tiger Suit and the Amulet of Power. Cherry then put the box back when it was and recovered a suit. McDuffie and Cherry then left the apartment, and Cherry informed McDuffie and Matt Murdock of his findings.[2]
Worried Aunt[]
- "It's Angela. She still hasn't come home. That's not like her."
- ―Soledad Ayala to Matt Murdock[src]
When Hector Ayala was murdered by an NYPD officer,[1] Angela Del Toro became determined to locate her uncle's murderer and continue his vigilante justice. One night, Soledad Ayala was at the Ayala Residence when she became worried that Del Toro had not returned. Shortly before midnight, Soledad used the home phone to call Matt Murdock to inform him of her worries, although Murdock told her that it would be okay before disconnecting the call.[3]
