While riding to the Red Room Academy with other SSR agents and the Howling Commandos, Peggy Carter gave Dum Dum Dugan a bottle of Axel Grease as payment for his assistance in the mission. As the two groups rested for the night they shared war stories and drank Axel Grease.
Later, Dugan offered Ivchenko, one of the prisoners they had released, a drink of his bottle of Axel Grease, only for Ivchenko to then ask to keep the entire bottle, despite it not being his favorite alcohol. Dugan reluctantly gave him the bourbon from Carter. While on the plane ride to New York City, Fennhoff slept while holding onto the bottle of Axel Grease.[1]
