Avengers: Secret Wars is an upcoming superhero film, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. The film is a sequel to The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: The Kang Dynasty. It is the fortieth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and the fourth and final installment of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga. The film is set to be released on May 7, 2027.

On July 22, 2022, it was revealed that Marvel Studios had filed five trademarks including one for Avengers: Secret Wars. The next day, at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, Kevin Feige officially announced that the film was in development. He also announced that the film would be released on November 7, 2025.

On October 3, 2022, Deadline reported that Michael Waldron would be writing the film's script.

On October 11, 2022, it was announced that the film had been pushed back from its initial release date to May 1, 2026.

On June 13, 2023, it was announced that the film had been pushed back from its May 1, 2026 release date to to May 7, 2027.
