The subject of this article is part of an MCU franchise story that has been officially deemed to be non-canonical to the primary continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Its events instead occur in another reality within the Multiverse. This universe is designated by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki as the "Tesseract Retriever Thor Universe".
The name of this universe was chosen by the Marvel Cinematic Universe Wiki following our Naming Policy. It is not an official name and was chosen in order to differentiate each universe in the ever growing Multiverse.

The Avengers is a superhero team consisting of Thor and Iron Man.

History[]

The Avengers, which consisted of Iron Man and Thor banded together as Loki started his assault on Earth. The two fought the Chitauri and took them down before Thor defeated Loki and obtained the Tesseract, ending the threat.[1]
