The Avengers are a superhero team led by Captain Peggy Carter.
History[]
Battle of New York[]
Loki invaded Earth so a team of heroes was formed including Captain Carter, Hawkeye, Black Widow, Iron Man, Thor, and Hope van Dyne. Dubbed the Avengers, they battled against Loki's army in New York City, with Captain Carter leading the team. After giving her teammates orders to deal with the Chitauri, Captain Carter and Black Widow dealt with Loki together on top of Stark Tower, successfully defeating him and stopping the invasion.[1]
