- ―Dennis Bukowski[src]

Biography[]
Legal Career[]
Superhuman Law Division[]
Pugliese went to law school and graduated with a law degree. Upon becoming a lawyer, he was hired by Goodman, Lieber, Kurtzberg & Holliway's Los Angeles office and was assigned to the Superhuman Law Division.[1]
Meeting She-Hulk[]
- "Hi there. I'm Pug, I'm also in the Superhuman Law Division. I brought you guys a welcome basket. It's got some office supplies. Snacks. And a map to the best bathroom for pooping."
- ―Augustus Pugliese to Jennifer Walters and Nikki Ramos[src]
In 2025, Pugliese learned that Jennifer Walters had been employed and put together a welcome basket for her and her paralegal, Nikki Ramos. He then brought it to her office, where he introduced himself to the two women.[1]
Representing Dennis Bukowski[]
The day after, Pugliese went to Holden Holliway's office and met Dennis Bukowski. He listened as Bukowski informed them of his predicament and that he needed a lawyer after being defrauded by a Light Elf. They were joined by Jennifer Walters, who only laughed at what had happened. Moments later, Mallory Book walked in, but after Bukowski stated he couldn't have a woman lawyer, she left the room. Pugliese was then asked by Bukowski to take him as his client. They all then witnessed when an Inter-Dimensional Portal appeared in the room and Wong walked out. Walters told them she needed to speak to him and left with him.
Pugliese then took Bukowski to his office and formally agreed to help him. He asked how much money Bukowski had been defrauded and upon settling an agreement, shook hands. Pugliese then researched the Light Elf, whose name was Runa, and saw a video of her shapeshifting into Megan Thee Stallion.
Seconds later, "Bukowski" walked inside again and told Pugliese he changed his mind about the case. He stated he felt that it wasn't worth it after all. Pugliese then received a phone call from Bukowski and was told that his car was missing outside. He then realized that Runa had infiltrated the office and assumed Bukowski's identity. He then called for security and chased after Runa, who had assumed his appearance. Runa transformed into her appearance and told him that was a warning.
Pugliese apologized to the staff for the disturbance before returning to his office. Later, he met Bukowski at the Los Angeles Metropolitan Courthouse and sat next to him as Judge Price began the hearing. Pugliese vouched for Bukowski while being subjected to Lauren Jesper's claims that Runa was from New Asgard and didn't need to be there.
Price eventually let the case go to trial and walked out of the room. However, when he appeared suddenly, Pugliese looked over and saw Runa was gone. He exclaimed that they had had enough of her mischief, in which Jesper agreed telling Runa to stop before she got herself into more legal trouble.
That night, Pugliese met with Walters and Ramos at the Legal Ease Bar & Grill. He explained to them the case and listened as both women vented their frustrations about working with Bukowski. He then got an idea and asked Walters to come help him by giving her testimony.
The next day, they returned to the courthouse and Walters went to be questioned. Pugliese asked her for her account of how well she knew Bukowski and if he would have been truly misled into thinking Runa was the real Megan Thee Stallion. Walters laid out her case that Bukowski was indeed capable of thinking that due to his own arrogance and personality.
After a brief time, they rejoined and were told that Pugliese had won the case. Bukowski would be rewarded the money he had lost and Runa would be sentenced to sixty days for impersonating a judge. They all then heard the real Megan Thee Stallion in the back of the room. Pugliese and Bukowski turned around to see if that was really her. Afterwards, they walked out with Walters and when Bukowksi asked if he should go back, they told him not too. Pugliese and Bukowksi then walked out together as Walters stayed behind briefly.[2]
Helping Nikki Ramos[]
- "I got a guy, Alonzo, the drip broker. He can find anything you're looking for, fashion-wise."
- ―Augustus Pugliese to Nikki Ramos[src]
Days later, Pugliese walked up to Nikki Ramos' desk and greeted her. He then asked her for a favor, regarding waiting in line with him for the new Iron Man Three's. He explained how he wanted one to wear and one to stock for show and how he had a drip broker named Alonzo. She then stated she wanted something in return and that she needed clothes that Walters could wear.
The next day, Pugliese rode in Ramos' car to the Café Beau-Ba where Alonzo was supposed to be. They met the store employee and asked him about Alonzo and the superhero stuff, in which the employee seemed to not be aware of. Eventually, he left the room and returned in front of curtains, revealing a hidden room.
They followed him into the room where he revealed a display of Avengers fanfare, such as props and clothing. However, the clothing misspelled the team's name. Pugliese found a Mjølnir prop and picked it up. Ramos told the employee that she and Pugliese would get shirts and hats in exchange for him speaking to Alonzo about a clothing designer. Pugliese also got the Mjølnir prop and a prop of Captain America's Shield.
After they did, they went to the location of the designer and waited outside for him. Ramos rang the bell and spoke to him via the intercom. After making an appointment for Walters, they danced, but stopped awkwardly after he said he could see them.[3]
Learning Of Intelligencia[]
Attending the Awards Gala[]
Days later, Pugliese attended the Southern California Law Awards gala at Wilshire Pavilion Banquet Hall to support She-Hulk and Mallory Book, both who won the award. He sat with Nikki Ramos, and Walters' parents, Elaine and Morris Walters. When Walters was called up, he expressed his excitement, and together with Ramos, snapped his fingers when Book gave her acknowledgment of winning the award.
He then witnessed when HulkKing, a leader of Intelligencia, hijacked the Gala, releasing Walters' personal data, and an intimate video on the large screen. Walters grew angry and smashed the screen to end the broadcast. He, along with the other guests, fled the banquet hall as Damage Control agents arrived on scene outside.[4]
Helping Jennifer Walters[]
- "Did you manage to get a hold of Bruce?"
"We left multiple messages. I managed to stay calm, considering I was calling the freaking Hulk himself." - ―Jennifer Walters and Augustus Pugliese[src]
The next day, Pugliese, Nikki Ramos, and Mallory Book worked together to try and get Walters free of her charges and a plea deal. Pugliese also called Bruce Banner to tell him about what happened, but got his voicemail. They then visited Walters at the Damage Control Supermax Prison and informed her of what they did.[5]
Infiltrating Intelligencia[]
Pugliese was called by Nikki Ramos, who explained that she had gotten details for an Intelligencia meeting. However, since they were all male, she needed him to infiltrate. Pugliese and Ramos arrived at the location. Pugliese was worried and wondered if they would be suspicious that he was wearing an airpod, but Ramos said half of them would.
Pugliese entered and was told by Ramos to speak and act like a misogynist. He entered a conversation, but quickly turned around as he could not bring himself to talk like them. He then walked back to the conversation talking about females. Todd Phelps overheard him and turned around, greeting Pugliese, saying he should have known he was one of them. Phelps then revealed that he was HulkKing.
As they talked more, Pugliese reluctantly said that She-Hulk got her powers through nepotism. When Phelps asked if he thought she boned Holden Holliway. Pugliese angrily said yes and he was mad about it. Suddenly, Abomination arrived to be a speaker at the event. Walters also arrived, just being in the wrong place at the wrong time. When the conflict ended, Pugliese and Ramos noticed Daredevil. Pugliese concluded that Daredevil and Walters hooked up. Ramos confirmed his theory.[5]
